I really don’t understand where Kenyan gospel music is really heading for sure. I mean, most artist just wake up, join some lines and head to studio to record the music. Most upcoming artist concentrate much on fame and money and truly forget what they are producing whether is Godly or ungodly. I guess this gospel music in Kenya lacks sense and the singers are losing track.
There is this time another gospel artist sung ‘nyonyo ya yesu‘ song and it was out of track. Seriously where did Jesus develop nyonyo? Can the government bring Don Moen or our closest lady from Tanzania here Chritine Shusho to teach this people that God does not play this silly games?
There is this song Njiwa, by the way who exactly was behind thing idea of producing the song? Anyway lets move from there, another upcoming artist by the name Guduman is here, for God’s sake he just released a song Ndombolo ya solo and is truly gospel!!
I really don’t understand if the singers are lacking ideas or they are suffering from “talent fading” syndrome.
This time gospel singer Size 8 has come clean defending gospel songs but terming Dkkwenye beat’s song as ungodly urging him to stay on track about composing song which are relevant before God’s eyes and ears. This comes some few weeks after radio presenter Jalang’o had some thoughts about Kenyan gospel songs but Size 8 defending fellow gospel songs.
The message Size 8 had for Dkkwenye:
Nyanya by @dkkwenyebeat now on YouTube link on his bio. This song is so true why do we sometimes mix ourselves with sych ungodly acts woi father Lord help us all to remain blameless until the second coming of Christ.
Dkkwenye who has been off the limelight for a while, has released another song which seem losing track and meaning. I though you should watch the short video below for you to judge. Am not criticizing Kenyan music, in the contrary I truly support but they are losing track about what is gospel and secular.
