Atwoli Sides With Government To Add Ksh 250,000 House Allowance To MPs

COTU chairman Francis Atwoli for the first time has sided with the government for member of parliament to have an increment of Ksh 250,000 as house allowance.

He says that Kenyan’s will be surprised by his decisions but they should also differentiate between the MPs’ mortgages and house allowances since these are two different things.

Atwoli claims members of parliament are workers like any other and he should also protect their interests. Also members of parliament use a lot of money while visiting rural areas for contributions and such.

Well, it seems Raila Odinga’s handshake really brought a lot of change not only to Raila and Uhuru but also to other politicians from the opposition.

As you know, the famous Labour day did not end well, it all ended in chaos after Francis Atwoli forgot to defend people’s interests and started talking much on politics.
